Scandipop sensation Sigrid will be playing an exclusive London show at this year’s Summer Series at Somerset House, following in the footsteps of other BBC Sound of winners, including her favourite artist Adele, who have gone on to play in the Series prior to hitting the big time.
The 21-year old Norwegian skyrocketed to prominence last year with the release of her debut EP Don’t Kill My Vibe, which has amassed over 100 million streams already. The successful EP came about after a disastrous recording session in London where male producers were patronising and belittling, prompting Sigrid to write about how people should just be polite and nice, rather than killing her vibe.
The show at the picturesque Somerset House is Sigrid’s only headline show in the UK this summer. The only other places you can see her in this country over the warmer months will be at Parklife 2018 and Reading and Leeds Festivals. So if you want to catch a glimpse of this extremely talented singer-songwriter before she catapults into the upper echelons of the music industry’s atmosphere, I sincerely hope you were able to grab a ticket before they sold out.
Sigrid plays Somerset House as part of their Summer Series on 11th July, with tickets now unfortunately SOLD OUT.
